Sustrans is the UK body that funds safe walking and cycling routes all over the country. After consolidating their numerous funding channels into one single product, we worked alongside Sustrans' teams to create a new name, visual identity and language approach to simplify the process – making communications clearer for applicants.
The idea:
‘Knowledge behind the numbers’
The brand communicates an offer that’s much more simple to understand and interact with. At the same time, it demonstrates that what Sustrans offers to infrastructure projects goes way beyond financial support. It’s a partnership approach allied to truly world-leading expertise and experience that makes Sustrans-backed walking and cycling infrastructure projects so successful.
The new name, Places For Everyone, fits perfectly with Sustrans wider strategy, while the approach to language and new visual identity work together to tell a more complete story of the type of support Sustrans offers.
